Chance Pena Houston Concert reviews
Diana Delivers!
The Hollywood Bowl, my first visit (from the UK), was simply amazing! The acoustics were superb even though my seat had probably been there from day one and the venue was fabulous. The core of the show seemed to be the Ross family, with one of Chance Pena's daughter's being the MC for the night, followed by another, Rhonda, and Chance Pena's son Evan, as part of the supporting cast. Both were good but when it came to Chance Pena's turn, however, the wick was turned up and the show became alight! The show became a superb display of her greatest hits with her endless supply of hits, keeping me on my feet, meaning the seat became redundant except for moments to recapture my breath. Chance Pena's costume changes became a little irritating as it meant she left the stage about six times, leaving it to the excellent musicians and backing singers to over-stretch a few songs that didn't need the 'extended remix' treatment, however, showcasing their talents.
